Mitsui Components Europe Limited (MCE) was established at Capel Hendre Industrial Estate, near Ammanford, Wales, in June 1999 to manufacture high quality door closure systems for the Automotive industry. Production commenced in May 2000.
Consistent performance and reputational growth has led to increased capacity requirements. To satisfy demand the factory was expanded in January 2005 and again in September 2008.
Continued success has ensured frequent and significant inward investment in production automation, quality analysis and measurement technologies, and machinery to enhance onsite operating capabilities, minimising reliance on external suppliers, ensuring maximum control and manufacturing efficiency.
